American citizens in Israel are offered sea evacuation | IDF is once again urging residents of north Gaza to flee.
The US has suggested a marine evacuation for Americans in Israel during the Israel-Hamas confrontation.

A new order to evacuate residents of the northern Gaza Strip has been issued by the IDF. Israel’s military advises citizens to relocate southward because they want to fight Hamas “even more forcefully.” They have guaranteed that there won’t be any military operations on the evacuation route on Sunday between 10 am local time (3 a.m. ET) and 1 pm.

However, a number of humanitarian organizations have criticized these evacuation orders. 2 million people in Gaza are in risk because fresh water is running out, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said.
Separately, the American embassy in Israel announced it will help Americans and members of their immediate families board ships to Cyprus through the port city of Haifa on Monday. The embassy states that “availability will be limited” and that boarding will continue on a first-come, first-served basis.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday before leaving Riyadh. By day’s end, it is hoped that senior American diplomats would arrive in Egypt and begin negotiating a deal with Gaza. Through the one and only crossing at Rafah Gate, which is situated between Gaza, Egypt, Israel, and the Mediterranean Sea, the deal intends to ensure secure access for Americans to Gaza.
Tensions have shot up over the week before as a result of Israeli attacks in retaliation for Hamas’s savage assault in the confined area between Gaza, Egypt, Israel, and the Mediterranean Sea. At least 1,300 people have died in Israel and 2,300 people have died in Gaza, and the death toll is rising.
